What I enjoy about my job
I enjoy the variety and flexibility of my job. The cases that I work on range from injury claims to huge commercial debt or contract disputes. I am able to maintain a healthy work-life balance which means that I can keep up to date with new developments, both in the legal world and those relating to my family!
How I ‘make it happen’ for my clients
I help my clients with all aspects of commercial disputes, from initial advice through to the court process and on to trial. My aim is to make a potentially stressful situation bearable for my clients and to secure the best possible outcome for them every time.
A bit about my background
I studied Law in Bristol at the University of West of England and then undertook a Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Litigation at Nottingham Trent University. Having worked in a City firm for 10 years, I left in 2013 to join Dixcart as a Consultant Solicitor.
What I wish I’d known at the start of my career
I wish I had more belief in myself 16 years ago when I was a young lawyer. Now I know I’m pretty good at what I do and I am certainly a much better lawyer as a result of that confidence I have in myself.

You might not know this about me but I used to play water polo for the South East Regions under 21 team.
