What I enjoy about my job
I enjoy presenting concise reports and providing clear advice to my varied and interesting clients.
How I ‘make it happen’ for my clients
I free up my clients from time-consuming administration, accounting and compliance work so that they can focus on running their businesses. I provide them with information in a well organised and easy to understand manner. Alongside management accounts and cash flows, I also analyse data, make forecasts and budgets, and I present these to clients to assist them to make well informed decisions.
A bit about my background
Following a degree in Accounting and Finance, I qualified as a Chartered Accountant with a fifteen-partner firm in Central London. I then worked as a manager to one of the Partners. After a short career-break, I joined Dixcart in 1995.
What I wish I’d known at the start of my career
I wish I had known that I didn’t have to commute to London to work in a very professional environment with a diverse client base.
You might not know this about me but…
When I was younger (and fitter!) I swam competitively at county level.
