What I enjoy about my job
There are so many things I enjoy about my job. It’s extremely rewarding to help clients achieve their life changing goals, whether it is relocate to a new country, embark on a new career or enable them to be with loved ones.

How I ‘make it happen’ for my clients
I give practical advice and I help my clients to navigate the immigration “minefield” with as little or as much support they feel they need. My main role is to reduce the stress surrounding the legalities and the admin.  I also review applications/documents, and provide detailed representations.

A bit about my background
I started my immigration career with the Home Office before moving to one of the “Big Four” accountancy firms, where I was lucky enough to be seconded to Hong Kong for 6 months. After 7 years, I moved in-house and headed up Immigration for the UK and EMEA region for one of the large global IT consultancy companies. After 4 years, I moved a boutique global immigration practice before heading up and re-launching the immigration team in another “Big Four” accountancy firm. In 2014 I assisted in setting up a boutique practice before moving to another boutique practice in 2019. In my 25-year career, I have been the ‘gamekeeper”, the “poacher”, the client and assignee.

What I wish I’d known at the start of my career
A good lawyer is someone who can advise on the risks and be personable. Being able to relate and empathize with clients is the key.

You might not know this about me but…
I used to dance – ballet and Indian style, having performed in front of Prime Ministers, diplomats and sportspersons.
