What I enjoy about my job
As part of the payroll team, I face new and exciting challenges every day. I like the fact that this means that no two days are ever the same and that I am constantly learning. Payroll’s not just about punching in numbers as it has an important impact on real people and their lives.
How I ‘make it happen’ for my clients
I am quick and proactive in responding to my clients’ requests. This means that their payrolls are always up to date and accurate. I work closely with all internal departments, making sure that our clients receive the very best service. I am always looking for new ways to improve efficiency to save my clients time.
A bit about my background
I started my career in retail while studying International Business at Kingston University. For the majority of my time in industry, I worked as a Finance and Payroll Assistant. I moved to the automotive industry, processing payroll for 220 people and I then decided to move into practice. I joined Dixcart in 2016.
What I wish I’d known at the start of my career
Don’t be afraid to take on new challenges. Everything is a learning experience!
You might not know this about me but…
I love exercising and setting challenges for myself. My greatest achievement so far has been cycling from London to Paris. I also really enjoy running half marathons.
