What I enjoy about my job
I enjoy working with the exciting mix of different cultures that are so integral to my international work.
How I ‘make it happen’ for my clients
I am a corporate and commercial lawyer, specialising in commercial contracts and the sale and purchase of businesses and companies, with a particular emphasis on international and cross-border work.
A bit about my background
I qualified as a solicitor (England & Wales) in 1998 and since then I have worked in both small and large firms. I have been a Partner in a national law firm and I have worked in-house as general counsel for a commercial organisation. I am now a director of Dixcart Legal and head of the Corporate/Commercial and International Legal Services department. This breadth of experience gives me a deep commercial insight that so many lawyers find difficult.
What I wish I’d known at the start of my career
I have seen many changes in my career, big and small – if only someone had told me that ties were going to go out of fashion, I would not have amassed such a big collection!
You might not know this about me but…
I had a (very brief) career as a child model!
